Bob Galland is a Consultant Vascular and General Surgeon at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Surgery at the University of Oxford.

He qualified at Manchester University and his surgical training was mainly at Hammersmith Hospital, London, University of Louisville, Kentucky and Reading.

He was a Hunterian Professor at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2004-5.

He was Treasurer of the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland 2000 - 2004.
